About

What I'm building and how I got here.

I started with game servers. Ran infrastructure for a good amount of customers. Linux, deployments, uptime pressure, fixing things when they broke. Before that I lived through the Windows 95 and XP era-and I’ll die on the hill that Vista was the most ambitious version Microsoft ever shipped.

That pushed me into web development. I learned HTML and JavaScript and enjoyed my Linux experience, then eventually made Linux my daily driver. I’m passionate about Open Source because of how flexible it is-I can tinker, dig into source, and make tools do exactly what I want. Ubuntu and Kubuntu cover most of my daily work, and Kali stays ready when I need to poke at security stacks.

I care about how things actually work under the hood. Server runtime, rendering, networking, deployment. Not just UI. The Nuxt + Nitro + h3 stack keeps me close to the metal while still shipping fast. I even tried trade school to see if a formal program could keep up, but I was always the first to finish labs and rarely learned anything new, so I dropped out and doubled down on building.

I’m building XyraPanel in public. I also enjoy contributing to Open Source projects

Outside of keyboards and terminals, I unwind by growing herbs and vegetables at home and looking after my animals. Growing things keeps me grounded, and caring for the critters is a good reminder that uptime matters in real life too.
